Protein Flapjacks is a preparation with which you can make the best cookies and cereal bars high in protein in an easy and healthy way. Made from gluten-free oat flakes, high-quality proteins and golden flax seeds. They are a whim for any time of the day and suitable for the whole family.
High in protein and no added sugar.
We have used a unique combination of proteins to achieve highly nutritious and healthy flapjacks. Instead of sweetening them with sugars, syrups or sweeteners, we have naturally sweetened them with plant fibre from the chicory plant. Unlike sweeteners, chicory fibre is a prebiotic that takes care of your intestinal health.
As easy as mixing and cooking.
Our Protein Flapjack preparation will save you from more than one trouble. Our simplified recipe just has to be mixed with water, a little of your favourite oil and baked or microwaved (yes, they even come out in the microwave!). The result is healthy and nutritious cookies that always look perfect, and the best thing is that you have two flavours to choose from!
Cookies, better made at home.
We have created the Protein Flapjacks preparation so you can have delicious fresh cookies whenever you want. Can’t be bothered with the oven? Don't worry, you can microwave your healthy flapjacks in under a minute and a half. They will be just as tasty, and you will have them ready in record time.
First, prepare the mixture:
100g of the Protein Flapjacks preparation
+ 1 tablespoon and a half of oil (14g)
+ 2 tablespoons of water (20g)
Once you have integrated the 3 ingredients, place the mixture on vegetable paper or baking paper giving it the shape you want with your hands. You can shape them into round, elongated or square cookies like classic flapjacks.
Cook them in the oven or microwave.
To cook them in the oven, place your cookies on the parchment paper in the centre tray of your oven. Cook them for 10-12 minutes at 180ºC in the preheated oven. We like to cook them in the oven when we want them to be very crispy and toasted.
To microwave them, place your cookies on parchment paper directly in the microwave. Cook them at full power for 60 - 75 seconds. Let them cool for a few minutes before devouring them. They turn out less toasted than cooked in the oven, but the texture made in the microwave is unmatched.
What's the difference with supermarket cookies?
The key is in the ingredients. While the cookies and bars in the supermarket are full of white flours, strange syrups, refined sugars or sweeteners, Protein Flapjacks is a preparation for making homemade cookies with high-quality ingredients, balanced nutritional values and no crap.
How many cookies can I make from a bag?
Each bag of Protein Flapjacks contains 500g of preparation. The total number of cookies will depend on how big or small you want to make them, we calculated that a good cookie could weigh between 6 or 7g.
If they don’t contain sugar, how do you sweeten the Protein Flapjacks?
We use fibre from the chicory plant, our innovative natural sweetener. Unlike other sweeteners, chicory fibre is sugar free and is a powerful prebiotic that takes care of the health of your gut microbiota.
Can I make cookies for my young children with this preparation?
Of course! They will have a great time making them and the result will be homemade and healthy cookies much more nutritious than the ultra-processed sugar-filled ones from the supermarket. They love the chocolate chip flavour!
Can I make many and save them already cooked?
Yes, once you have prepared your Protein Flapjacks you can store them for up to two days in a closed container in the cupboard or up to a week in the fridge. You can also freeze and thaw them in the microwave before devouring them.
